Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Best Dates tool work?
It applies traditional Moon based electional astrology: for each day it reads the Moon's sign (suited to the matter or not) and its phase (waxing for beginnings, waning for endings), computed from real planetary positions with Swiss Ephemeris. Momentary conditions such as Mercury retrograde or a void-of-course Moon are shown as context notes rather than folded into the day scores.
Which activities can I pick dates for?
Three at present: travel, marriage and love, and business and signing. You choose the activity and a date range of up to ninety days: every day is scored and ranked, and the most favorable days are listed at the top.
Is Best Dates free, and do I need my birth data?
Yes, it is public and free, with no sign-in and no payment. It reads only the sky itself, which is the same for everyone, so no birth data is needed. For timing tied to your own chart, see Personal Transits.
Is this a prediction?
No. It is a descriptive application of the traditional electional method: days are ranked by classical Moon criteria, not by foreseen outcomes. A favorable day does not guarantee success, and a poor one does not doom a plan; the scores simply show where the real Moon stands against the tradition's rules.
