Sign profiles

Thirty-six readings: each of the twelve signs taken three times over, once for the Sun, once for the Moon and once for the Ascendant, because the same sign does a different job depending on which of the three occupies it.

The Sun sign describes what a life is organised around. The Moon sign describes the part that reacts before you have decided anything, the temperament underneath. The Ascendant describes the manner of meeting the world, and it also sets the whole house layout of the chart, which is why it needs a birth time and the other two do not.

Each profile reads the sign through its classical ruler, element and modality rather than through a personality list, so Scorpio Moon is read as the Moon in a sign ruled by Mars where it is in fall, not as a set of adjectives.
