I'm Raşit Akgül. Founder and developer of AstroAk.
I'm a software developer and astrology researcher. AstroAk is where those two worlds meet: the depth of the classical tradition and the precision of modern software.
I came to traditional astrology out of a long curiosity about how the classical authors described character and temperament, and I stayed for the way it draws the whole person as a single portrait.
I built AstroAk in 2025 so this language of self-knowledge does not stay inside a small circle. It should be clear, honest, and within everyone's reach.

Who is behind AstroAk?
AstroAk is built by Raşit Akgül, a software developer and astrology researcher. He built it on the classical tradition rather than modern pop astrology, combining traditional sources with careful computation.
Is AstroAk free?
Yes. Everything on the site is free: the birth chart calculator, the natal, health and synastry reports, and all of the timing tools. There is nothing to buy, no credits and no subscription. The one paid thing is a personal reading from Raşit himself, and that is arranged directly with him by email at rasit@astroak.com, away from the site.
What makes AstroAk different?
Every interpretation is deterministic and built from classical-astrology templates, with no runtime AI. The method draws on the Hellenistic tradition, Avicenna's temperament theory, Lilly, and Culpeper, while the calculations use the Swiss Ephemeris.
Which languages does AstroAk support?
Seven: English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. The charts and the reports are fully localized in all seven; the blog is written in six, with the Italian articles still to come.
