About
Raşit Akgül
Founder of AstroAk
AstroAk is a free astrology platform built on real ephemeris calculations. Its readings are drawn from classical astrology sources and written in plain language.
AstroAk is a free, ad-free classical astrology reference. The site itself sells nothing and carries no ads; the personal readings Raşit Akgül prepares himself are offered separately in his Etsy shop.
Planetary positions are computed with Swiss Ephemeris, the library built on NASA's JPL planetary ephemeris. The interpretations rest on classical sources, Ptolemy, William Lilly and Ibn Sina among them, and are written in modern language rather than quoted from them.
The site is free and asks for no account to cast a birth chart. Its readings are offered for reflection and self-understanding, and they do not replace medical, legal or financial advice.
The platform was founded by Raşit Akgül.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is behind AstroAk?
AstroAk is built by Raşit Akgül, a software developer and astrology researcher. He built it on the classical tradition rather than modern pop astrology, combining traditional sources with careful computation.
Is AstroAk free?
Yes, entirely. Every calculator, module and written report on the site is free: no subscription, no credits, nothing to unlock. The only paid thing is the personal readings that I, Raşit Akgül, prepare myself on order and offer in my Etsy shop; the services page describes the four studies and links there.
What makes AstroAk different?
Every interpretation is deterministic and built from classical-astrology templates, with no runtime AI. The method draws on the Hellenistic tradition, Avicenna's temperament theory, Lilly, and Culpeper, while the calculations use the Swiss Ephemeris.
Which languages does AstroAk support?
Eight: English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Russian. The charts, the tools and the reports are fully localized in all eight. The blog is written in six: it does not cover Italian or Russian.
