Birth Time Rectification

Birth time rectification is the astrological work of narrowing down your birth time. Classical astrological literature treats it as a discipline of its own.

The major events in your life align with planetary transits. By testing candidate birth times against your dated events, I narrow the window toward the time that fits them best.

Your birth time directly determines your rising sign, your house system, and the placement of planets across the houses. A four-minute shift moves the rising sign by a single degree. A twenty-minute shift can change the rising sign entirely.

When the rising sign moves, every detail of the chart shifts with it. Health, relationships, career; all settle into the wrong houses. Astrological analysis is only meaningful when it rests on the correct hour.

I follow the traditional rules of classical rectification. Using transit and secondary progression techniques, I track which planetary activations coincided with your significant life events.

I test each minute of the candidate window separately against your events and rank the candidates by fit. How far the window narrows depends on how wide it starts and how many dated events you can provide.

I run this with custom software I built solely for this work, based on Swiss Ephemeris; it is run for each rectification on your data alone, and I read the results myself. The report states the resulting time together with how confident I am in it, and why. Rectification is a reasoned narrowing, not a guarantee; when the events do not single out one candidate, I say so openly.
