Temperament
Temperament is the classical reading of a chart's balance of hot, cold, wet and dry, expressed as one of the four humours: choleric, sanguine, melancholic or phlegmatic.
The mixture is computed from the Ascendant, the season of birth, the Moon's phase and sign, and the planets that dominate the chart. Most charts come out as a dominant humour with a secondary one, which is how our report names it.
The humours are a description of constitution in a historical framework, not a diagnosis and not a personality test.
